The filter insert

The heart of the TRABOLD filter is a newly developed high-performance filter insert with radial and axial filtering, which works largely without compression. Dirt particles down to 1/10 of a micron (ten-thousandths of a millimeter) are filtered out and water is bound. With radial and axial filtering, it became possible to reduce the volume of the filter housing and to use the filter insert more economically.

The flow resistance through a porous mass no longer represents an insoluble physical problem, since the filter inserts, whether coarse or fine-pored, can work under pressure with almost no compression. This enables the use of extremely fine-pored filter material, which can still finely filter liquids such as oil even under high pressures, as in the hydraulic sector, directly on engines and technical systems.
